If you have ever heard someone say they loved their Mac because it was so intuitive and felt like you must be missing something, read on for the secret!
Having taught for more than twenty years, I have discovered one extremely important element from watching people interact with Apple computers. There are those who explore by only looking around the screen and those who physically move the cursor (mouse icon) with their gaze. Apple's interface often hides tools to be less cumbersome and overwhelming and unless your cursor is positioned just right, the tool you are looking for won't appear!
The Golden Rule is this simple:
If you are looking at the screen and your cursor is following along positioned where you're looking, often the tools which are hidden will appear. Move the cursor away and the tool or option will disappear providing a more clean user interface. Not following this advice can lead to some very frustrating experiences!
